Those are the seven objectives of Go Gettas!!!!!!!
creation - the site has been created. We now want to make it the #1 social networking site for goal setters.
2. Expansion - we want to make this site THE go-to site for all individuals wanting to set, achieve and maintain their goals through help, support , encouragement, motivation and information so we invite others to join.
3. Participation - we encourage our members to get involved in the site through adding friends, posting pictures, personalizing our individual pages, uploading videos, and participating in the blog and forum sections.
4. Motivation: each member help each other by providing motivational comments to each other, posting motivational blogs, uploading inspirational videos, merely saying hello, welcoming people to the site, checking on each other, etc.
5. Information: we provide each other information on all things related to reaching our goals. We will provide contacts, websites, forms, seminars, and any other tools we can use to help each other achieve our goals.
6. Achievements: we will celebrate each other's achievements, whether big or small. We will tell others about our success. We will post pictures, videos, blogs, etc so that others who need visual encouragement can be encouraged by our success.
7. Maintenance: we will help each other maintain our goals through support, information, and encouragement..

What are my goals for Go Gettas?
I decided to blog about my goals for goalachievers.ning.com! What better way for me to start a website about goals than to have goals about the website itself.
Alright so here it goes:
1. Goal is to increase membership to a minimum of 100 members by the end of 2008.
2. Goal is to get people to participate in at least two of the activities that I mentioned in my previous post.
3. Goal is to have many, many testimonies from members of goalachievers.ning.com, saying how goalachievers.ning.com helped them with setting, achieving and maintaining their goals.
4. Goal is to get some added features made for the site. (I know goals are specific but I don't want to publicize my ideas just yet). But stay tuned for more!

What Go Gettas Members Can Do on Goalachievers.ning.com

1. Go Getta events - Go Gettas can post goal-related events that will help us set, achieve, and maintain our goals
2. Go Gettas can get support for their goals through discussions, networking, groups, and meeting people
3. Go Gettas can start their own Go Gettas group within the goalachievers.ning.com
4. Go Gettas can make friends with a click of a button
5. Go Gettas can watch inspirational videos
6. Go Gettas can post videos of others achieving their goal, or post their own videos of them achieving their goal or even struggling with their goals as sort of a video diary.
7. Go Gettas can get and post information about goals, goal setting, achieving their goals, obstacles to goal setting, maintaining their goals, etc.
8. Go Gettas can share pictures: whether the pictures be before and after pictures, pictures of what they'd like to accomplish, pictures of what they just accomplished, or just pictures of themselves for simply identification purposes
9. Go Gettas can send messages to each other or to the whole group
10. Go Gettas can leave comments on pictures, videos, and people's pages.

Go Gettas Has Been Launched!!!!!
Goalachievers.ning.com is the new social networking site I launched on July 12, 2008 for people who want to set, achieve, and maintain ANY goal! Whether your goal is social, professional, recreational, financial, physical, spiritual, etc, you can join and participate in this site! I call the members, Go Gettas because that's what we are!
I started goalachievers.ning.com after rummaging through my "to do" notebook of ideas and noticed that I had this idea for a social networking site about goals. And at the time I wrote down the idea, I didn't realize that a website I used to create a networking site for music professionals was PERFECT to do all the things I want us to do for goal setters! I really like ning.com because of all the neat things you can do as a member. In my next post, I'll tell you about all the things that Go Gettas can and hopefully will do when they join goalachievers.ning.com!
